About the venue
Hatulia is a rural retreat space run by NGO STAN in the village of Sidlyshche, Ivano-Frankivsk region. It was created as a place for recovery camps, workshops and creative studios. The space preserves the atmosphere of a family home while being adapted for group work, rest and community life. Hatulia is suitable for retreats, educational camps, workshops, reflection sessions, artistic activities and team gatherings. Its core values are safety, shared responsibility, sustainability, respect for resources and good neighbourliness. Hatulia offers different types of accommodation: rooms in the house, glamping tents and regular tents. The space also has several shared areas, including a room for board games, film screenings or group work, a barn that can be used as a dining or working space, a terrace that works well as the main working area, and a separate star tent for more private conversations or work. The venue has a large outdoor territory with a flower field, hammocks, swings, a fire pit and a fruit garden. There is also a small forest and a lake nearby, making Hatulia especially suitable for restorative formats and nature-based activities. Meals are prepared from Ukrainian products by local women, with vegetarian and vegan options available upon request.
About the village
Sidlyshche is a picturesque village in the Precarpathian region, located in the foothills of the Carpathians. It is around 24 km from Kolomyia and 45 km from Ivano-Frankivsk. The village has a complex multicultural history and today offers a quiet rural environment with clean air, green landscapes, forests, berries, mushrooms and ponds. For Hatulia, this local context is essential: the retreat centre is not only a venue, but also a place for slowing down, reconnecting with nature, restoring energy and building community away from the noise of the city.
